Summer Session A: Thursdays 11am / June 11 - July 16
Summer Session B: Fridays 4:30pm / June 19 - July 24
Fall Session: Thursdays 11am / September 10 - October 15
For ages 2-5 with a grown-up. This course serves as a perfect preparation for formal private lessons (which are not recommended until age 5), or simply the beginning of a life-long relationship with music. This is a 45 minute class that runs for 6 weeks.
Introduction to Sound gives children a new form of communication through the understanding of sound, while using music as a medium to solidify other learning topics such as counting, colors, mind-body connection, and emotional awareness. Through aural, visual, and kinesthetic channels, we celebrate the differences in our learning preferences to make music accessible for everyone.
Based on brain science and taking elements from both the Orff Schulwerk and Kodály teaching philosophies, this course is intentionally designed and serves as one of the only non-corporate options of its kind.
Summer camps and classes are eligible for our Summer Discount Program (one missed session). Use code SUMMER6 at checkout and specify the date your student will miss in the intake form.
*As a small school, which allows us to give extra attention to students, classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. In that case, funds are put into your student’s account and can be allocated toward future camp or class enrollments or private lessons. These funds can also be used via other family members.
