Session:

This is a 6 week course appropriate for beginners aged 5-9. Learn the basics in an intentional, small group setting. Each student will have access to their own piano (with headphones), while collaborating with the group via rhythm activities, art projects, and games. During each session students have 5 minutes to get solo feedback and a personalized assignment to work on during the week. This is the perfect option for kids who are wanting to explore the instrument without a huge commitment. Most topics are transferable to other areas of learning: critical thinking, discipline, collaboration, and personal expression. This course comes from a Orff Schulwerk/Montessori approach where play and exploration is at the forefront! Students come out of class with a basic music foundation, a few songs under their belt, and the necessary tools to jump into private lessons.

Fall 2026:

Session A: Sundays 12pm September 13 - October 18

Session B: Tuesdays 4pm September 22 - October 27

Winter 2026:

Session A: Fridays 5pm January 8 - February 12

Session B: Sundays 9am January 10 - February 14
